It is manageable to fit an AFK with two rafters however three rafters would be a stretch depending on the brand/thickness of the rafter.

You also need to consider whether you are using a storage bag as that would add to the thickness. Without the storage bag, it may be possible with thin rafters. 

Also note if you have a short AFK and you are looking at the 2.2m pole carrier, you can fit them in joined together.
