Troubleshooting FAQ - When will I get my refund?

How long does it take to get my refund? 

Most refunds are paid within a week and a half to a fortnight from being returned for inspection.

The period for processing may be delayed by public holidays and during peak periods.

All items are tested and inspected before being refunded. 

Large items with multiple parts and electrical items can take longer to be tested and inspected.

Our refunds team processes refunds weekly. 

How do I submit a refund request? 

You can request a refund by accessing your Campsmart Account and visiting the resolution centre. 

How do I request an update on a return? 

You can access your return information by logging into your Campsmart Account and visiting the resolution centre. 

What is the timeframe for Returns, Refunds and Inspections? 

1. Return Inspections

Items that are returned to Campsmart are inspected prior to any replacements or refunds being processed. 

Return testing & inspections are generally completed on Thursdays each week. 

2. Refund Processing 

Once inspection has been completed if a refund is due the claim will be sent to the payments team for processing.

Payments are processed on Tuesdays each week. 

3. Receiving Payment of your refund

Once your payment has been made you will need to allow for the banking industry timeframes for processing.

Banks and credit card processors can take up to ten business days to process a refund. 

Please note:

• While we do our best to maintain these standards these timeframes are guides only and subject to change due to peak season or staffing shortages
• Warranties will take longer, particularly if they need to be assessed by a third-party team

Can you do this faster? 

No, we process all returns and refunds according to the following process.

Our customer service staff do not process refunds and are not able to expedite the process. Bullying and harassment of our staff will not be tolerated. 

Items are processed in the order they are received.
