We do sell these Storm Covers for Hard Lid Expanda models. These are designed for 2016 onwards. Some of our customers have successfully fitted them to older vans, but there are a few dimensional differences to be aware of. Jayco does not manufacture storm covers to suit earlier models
The main difference is the length of the fabric on these models and the placement of the sail track. Older vans may have a gap between where the material attaches to the side of the van and the storm cover. The straps run along the bottom of the cover to pull this in for a more snug fit. They can be retrofitted to most vans from 2008 onwards. We hope this clears this up for you.
The newer versions of Jayco vans have a cut-out section that allows the storm cover to be left on while in transit. This works because the sail track is attached behind the locking mechanism.
Vans made before 2016 may be able to modify the sail track placement; however, this is not guaranteed.
The cut-out for the locking mechanism does not entirely line up, and if you have existing press studs on the side of your van, these will not line up exactly either.
