How to Fit a Towing Mirror

Fitting Instructions

The mirror can be rotated 180° to fit either the left- or right-hand side of your vehicle.

1. Ensure the straps are located in the slots of the fixing brackets.

2. Fit the protection buffers onto the locating pips of the pinch screws.

3. Push down firmly on each pinch screw.

4. Loop the safety lanyard over your existing mirror.

5. Position the mouths of the fixing brackets over the edge of the existing mirror.

6. Once in position, tighten the pinch screws firmly.

7. Pull the straps around the rear of the existing mirror and secure the clip.

8. Attach the strap clips to the underside of the mirror.

9. Adjust the straps to the desired length.

10. Adjust the mirror to the desired position, then tighten the thumb screws.

11. The rear ball joint allows the mirror to be positioned accurately at almost any angle.

12. To rotate the mirror for use on the opposite side of the vehicle, remove the screw from the rear ball joint, rotate the extension bar 180°, then refit and tighten the screw.
