Concern - The Height of your awning with the AFK
The AFK attachment from Campsmart, specifically the hook attachment end, is not appropriate for the Fiamma F45S 300. It limits the height the main awning can be extended to, as shown in previous photos. The awning needs to be at 200cms above the ground for the porch awning to attach effectively, not the 160cms it currently sits at when the AFK is attached.
- The height of the awning is adjusted before you attach the AFK - from your images, it looks like you have not fully extended it to the desired height before adding your AFK. This YouTube video shows how to drop out the legs and extend them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCDqwPK6edE
- Your legs can extend up to 2.3m from the ground - so if you want to set your awning at 2m you certainly can. But do this before you attach the AFK so you can hook it in and tighten it at the level you require. The issue is fitting the AFK and then trying to adjust. You need to do the steps in the right order to set the AFK at the level you want to use it.
The steps are:
1. Extend your awning.
2. Adjust your legs to the level you are happy with
3. Fit the AFK - Most caravanners purchase a small step or ladder for setting up the van
